I think I planted too many cucumbers!

Butterfly Food??

I have been feeding a little stray kitten. I soak her food in warm milk till it is soft before I give it to her. I noticed this butterfly feeding on the kitten food / milk so I just had to snap a few pictures. The hard part was the kitten wanted to chase the butterfly!

Buzz, Buzz, Buzz

The bees were enjoying the blooms on the squash plants in my garden. I tried and tried to get a picture of them but all I could see was their little bottoms. They would turn upside down in the flower and just stay there forever. Finally I got brave and took a grass stem and poked it gently in the back side and it turned around and looked at me kind of mean like. I got a few shots and I didn't get stung, although I probably deserved to be stung for poking it.

Berries!

DH and I picked these yummy berries yesterday so I can turn them into jelly. The red colored are wine berries and the dark are blackberries.

Cute Kittens

A couple of months ago a stray female cat showed up at my house. I am allergic to cats so I couldnt' keep her, but she was such a nice cat I decided to find a home for her. It wasn't long until I discovered she was very pregnant, so I decided to take care of her until she had her babies then find homes for all of them. She has disappeared now leaving 2 of her cute little kittens behind. I'm not sure what happened to her but I'm afraid she got on the road or something, since she hasn't returned to eat or feed her babies (they weren't weaned yet). The little ones have been eating though so I guess they will be OK. They are really cute and I will be looking for them a home soon.
