The geese were pretty wary of us.
This one was angled just right for the evening light to brighten it's eye.
I have no idea what this shell is. I was in a very wet area near the river and saw a large shell...well large for a snail type shell. Then I begin to look around and they were everywhere. They were in wet leaves. I could count probably 20 just by looking in a 4 or 5 foot area around where I was standing
The swan wasn't very cooperative in posing for me. It stayed way far away.
If I was really quiet I could sneak up on the turtles.
This was a limb off a bush.

Water Lily
These pretty little water lillies bloom on the Pine River not far from our house. I visited them often trying to get a good shot.... I think this is my favorite.

Watching The Sunset
We live very close to the Pine River, so my husband and I love to watch the sunset over the river. There are two little parks where we can sit on benches or picnic tables and view the sunset.
Abbi loves to go along. I am not sure she cares much about the sunset but she loves being outside with us. If we walk she happily scampers along beside us, and if we take our bikes she rides in the basket of Scott's bike.
This is the view from the benches along the walking trail.
This is the view at the other little park.

Geese
A lot of geese live on the Pine River near our house. There is a little area with picnic tables and benches a few blocks away from us, where the geese tend to hang around in the morning and evening. I enjoyed shooting them in the early morning light with the beautiful blue sky reflecting in the water.

Early Morning Light
Oh what a beautiful sight! This tree is just bursting with blooms as it flourishes near the bank of the pine river.

Welcome
Welcome to my blog. I plan on sharing things I see and capture thru my camera.
About Me

- My Corner Of The World
- I am 49 years old, I have 2 adult sons, a grandaughter & a grandson. I am happily married to the love of my life. I have been intrigued with photography for as long as I can remember. I am constantly striving to learn something new and improve my photography. I love doing portraits, macros, and scenic shots. I literally take my camera everywhere I go. I find that the more I learn about photographing my world, the more I learn to "see" the beauty around me.
