A Cutie and Two Kitties

This little guy was so gentle and patient with the kittens.  It was a joy to watch him with them.  He was a shy little guy but let me take some pictures any way.

Picnic

Apples To Apple Pie

These big pretty apples were so tasty!  They made great apple pies.  Of course I had to play with them and shoot them first :)

Salsa

I have enjoyed making salsa this summer.

Colditz Cove / Northrup Falls

This is the view after we came down the bluff and we were following the trail along the bottom of the bluff to the falls.  If you look below you can seethe top of the bluff where the water is falling over.  I would guess it to be about 60 feet tall.
It was early in the morning and there was fog or mist coming off the water.

A Beautiful View on a Beautiful Morning

A Foggy Morning

The fog was so heavy and so wet it put little water droplets on everything.  It was a delight to see and shoot.

A Pretty Rainbow

Zinnias

I love zinnias, I planted some in the edge of my garden and have really enjoyed shooting them.  In TN the butterflies were really attracted to them but I don't see many butterflies here.

Samantha

Samantha came to visit us and we had so much fun taking her to the park.  She learned to swing and go down the slide while she was here and she loved it.

The look of joy is evident on her face.  I had to be quick to catch a shot as she came flying down the slide.

 Standing on the merry-go-round
She loved this pig.  There were other animals but she didn't want to ride any of them, except the pig.  We tried taking her to different parks but she much preferred this one..... the others didn't have a pig :)    .........  and if a pig will put this look on her face......  then look out pig  ...... here we come!

Welcome

Welcome to my blog. I plan on sharing things I see and capture thru my camera.

About Me

My photo
I am 49 years old, I have 2 adult sons, a grandaughter & a grandson. I am happily married to the love of my life. I have been intrigued with photography for as long as I can remember. I am constantly striving to learn something new and improve my photography. I love doing portraits, macros, and scenic shots. I literally take my camera everywhere I go. I find that the more I learn about photographing my world, the more I learn to "see" the beauty around me.
